FLORIS 4ET |

The
quartet was formed around 2018 during
various music sessions in Rome,
preferring a repertoire of original compositions
by the leader and the other band members.
Their music explores and blends recurring
sounds of contemporary national and international
jazz, without forgetting the influences
that are the roots of jazz, from the bebop
and hard bop periods to the late Coltrane
and the second Davis quintet.
In July 2025, their first album, "Errori
di Deprogrammazione," was released,
produced by WOW Records. |

PG
PETRICCA is a representative of archaic and
acoustic blues, played on the streets, in
clubs, and at specialized festivals. His career
has included several albums, first with PAPA
LEG ACOUSTIC DUO (2007's "Railroad Blues"
and
2009's "Back To Mississippi"), then
occasional collaborations, but more often
solo (2015's "At Home" and 2016's
"Tales and Other Stories"). His
raw music and songwriting have made him well-known
and appreciated on the Italian and international
blues circuit as well as by the music press.
In 2021, he released "Bad Days,"
his third album under his own name.
GIANLUCA GIANNASSO approached drums as a self-taught
musician. From Puglia, he moved to Milan to
study at the Civici Corsi di Jazz and later
to Rome, where he began working professionally.
He collaborates with Luca De Nuzzo, Alessandro
Orlando Graziano, and Fabio Cinti. He took
part in impromptu live performances with Morgan
(Bluevertigo) and dabbled in rock with Starla,
Il Corso Delle Cose, I Bambini di Cioccolato,
and L'Ira Del Baccano. He released a solo
album of electronic music under the pseudonym
Rev. He ventured into blues, playing with
Dead Shrimp, Spookyman, and G-Fast Freaks
Orkestar. His drumming skills were so highly
regarded on the circuit that he toured several
times with American artists, such as Reed
Turchi and Luther Dickinson (North Mississippi
Allstars). |

Mario
Donatone is one of Italy's most respected
blues and soul pianists and singers, and has
enjoyed a long career both as a soloist, with
seven albums recorded, and as an accompanist,
primarily for African-American blues and gospel
artists touring Italy and Europe.
In a quartet with the eclectic guitarist,
bassist, and singer Angelo Cascarano, who
has been shaping the sound of all his projects
for years, and with the solid rhythm of bassist
Christian Antinozzi and drummer Francesco
Calogiuri, they will showcase the best of
a blues and soul repertoire, revisiting groups
and performers rarely seen, such as the Neville
Brothers, the Staple Singers, Dr. John, Ray
Charles, and others. |

PIERA
PIZZI in SLOW JAM |
h
7pm |
| |
| Early
Concert |
| |
Jazz
(modern, classical, and soul), blues, and
a touch of gospel characterize the sound of
this trio, formed over ten years ago by Piera
Pizzi and Enrico Cresci (and recently joined
by Bruno Zoia on contrabass).
The original lineup owes its name, SLOW JAM,
to the album of original songs of the same
name, recorded in 2015 for the Electromantic
label.
The duo draws its repertoire from the immense
and varied songbook of jazz and African-American
music as a whole, revisiting its best passages
in an acoustic style. |

SPOOKIMAN
ONE MAN BAND |
h
9pm |
| |
| Blues
Night |
| |
An
investigator of the occult of sound, SPOOKYMAN
employs abstruse contraptions that one cannot
quite decide whether to attribute to the "Time
of electronics" or the more fascinating
but antiquated "Time of electricity."
His equipment includes a late 1960s television
transformed into an oscilloscope that synchronizes
with the signals of a Moog and a sequencer
that, in turn activated by a pedal, loops
the beat and rehashes it, while an old sound
blaster vomits ancient sounds from specially
recorded cassette loops.
What is striking is the esotericism of the
situation: SPOOKYMAN manages his equipment
more like an alchemist than an electrician,
and the sound produced emerges from a dimension
suspended between library music, sci-fi, and
freak-post-blues, imbued with a spy story
imagery.
SPOOKYMAN & HIS ACOUSMATIC ORCHESTRA are
ready to whisk you away with a show suspended
in a sonic dimension where past and future
coexist in harmony and the present is dissolved
in lysergic acid.

César
Crespo has over 20 years of experience as
a musician. From his early days in the punk
rock and DIY scene, he formed the band Vice
& Vanity and toured internationally with
Opus Dead. He learned his craft in the Tonky
Blues Band and The Pinball's Blues Party.
Throughout his career, he has collaborated
with countless artists and also worked as
a promoter, organizing concerts for legendary
blues figures such as Rusty Zinn, Anson Funderburgh,
and Duke Robillard. He was part of the band
that accompanied Lazy Lester on his tours
in Spain and is currently a member of the
garage band Doctor Explosión, leads
the quartet Chicken's Wing, and, along with
Greg Izor and Javi Suárez, is part
of the collective The Royal We. He's been
active in the Austin music scene for years,
and during his last visit in March 2025, he
recorded a couple of tracks at Dave González's
studio (from the band The Paladins) with Bret
Coats and other Texas musicians.
César's story reflects a resilience
and unwavering dedication, marked by his understated
approach and commitment to authenticity in

PARADISI & MARCHETTI DUO
"KOETE" |
h
7pm |
| |
| Early
Concert |
| |
A
new project, KOETE, from the Japanese word
for "beyond," brings together vocalist
Marilena Paradisi and accordionist Natalino
Marchetti. A study in sound, in the fusion
of the voice and new and unusual sounds that
can develop when combined with such a fascinating
musical instrument as the accordion. And in
this new project, KOETE unites the voice with
an incredibly orchestral instrument, the accordion,
played by a truly extraordinary musician,
Natalino Marchetti, one of the most successful
accordionists on the jazz scene of the new
millennium. His golden handprint is in the
"International Museum of the Footprints
of the Accordion Greats," and his music
flows from his instrument like a river of
musicality, originality, and passion. Going
beyond preconceived notions that the accordion,
along with the voice, can only be used for
classical and popular repertoire, experimenting
with a repertoire of modern jazz and great
jazz composers, this new fusion of sounds
can reveal an unexpected purity of style,
always in the profound dialogue of improvisation
that is the essence of the jazz language.
Marilena Paradisi highlights: Marilena Paradisi
is one of the most committed vocalists on
the improvisation front. Her expression ranges
from jazz to contemporary music, and she is
a great researcher in the use of the voice
in experimental and improvisational contexts.
She is internationally acclaimed not only
for her interpretive skills and mastery of
the text, but also for her highly original
and varied projects. She boasts collaborations
of the highest caliber, including drummer
Eliot Zigmund, pianist Kirk Lightsey, double
bassist Pietro Leveratto, pianist Renato Sellani,
trombonist Dino Piana, and Japanese singer
Michiko Hirayama. Her latest album, "Here
and Now" (Losen Records 2024), a duo
with American double bassist Bob Nieske, has
received stellar reviews worldwide (Jazz Life
Japan, Era Jazzu Poland, Skj Jazz Slovakia,
Musica Jazz, Jazz Convention, Jazz Fun Germany,
Il Manifesto, Jazz Music Archives, Left,)
"A beautifully sung and played album,
the purity of sound and the intimate atmosphere
of this recording are overwhelming. Marilena
Paradisi's voice seems to be right next to
us, and Bob Nieske's bass radiates warmth.
The music on this album is the quintessential
jazz" (Jazz-Fun.De Germany 2025)
"Marilena Paradisi offers her original
and unique interpretation" (Jazz Life
Japan 2024)
Italian singer Marilena Paradisi is one of
the most interesting European jazz singers.
(Era Jazzu Polonia 2024)
"Paradisi demonstrates the same captivating
ability to completely merge with the songs
without dulling their different moods"
(Jazz Times 2017)
"The most magical thing about Paradisi
is her ability to completely believe in what
she sings; you sense that she was there, you
have the feeling that she was there, that
she was that way, and that she has both the
scars and the sweet memories to prove it"
(Jazz Times 2002)
Natalino Marchetti highlights: The gold cast
of his right hand is preserved forever in
the "International Museum of the Imprints
of the Accordion Greats"
• Named one of the world's top accordionists
in the "Accordion And World's Best Contemporary
Accordionists"
• Boniface VIII Award "for the
high merits achieved in the field of his activity
and for the high professional, human, and
social qualities demonstrated"
• "Natalino Marchetti is an exceptional
artist and accompanist "Which speaks
of the heart and its desires" (Nicholas
Mondello on "Allaboutjazz")
• "Natalino plays the accordion
with heart and intelligence: he is a kind,
refined, quality musician and person, always
searching for the profound meaning of the
universe and spirituality. I remember once,
after one of his solos, during a concert at
the archaeological site of Petra, I was so
shocked I couldn't play. That evening he seemed
possessed..." (Luca Aquino on "Jazzit"). |
